You can choose the person repairing your products freely when ordering.
Where can I send the package for repair?
You can send your package from any Matkahuolto package station or service point across the country. There's a map on the front page.
How long does it take for my order to return to me?
Usually 3 to 14 days. The length of the repair process varies depending on your location and the service provider's schedule. Usually, it takes anywhere from a few hours up to a week for the service provider to fix your item.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You may check and track your order from the link that can be found on the purchase confirmation.
Can I order other repair services than just for textiles?
Yes. We have phone repairs, shoe repairs and jewelry repair services available too. We are looking to expand the selection of the services with eager entrepreneurs and by the requests of the customers. Let us know your suggestions at email@example.com.
How much does the repair cost?
Service providers on the platform price their services themselves. The price might be affected by their expertise, location, and season. In addition to the service provider's set price, a postage fee is charged.
How is the price of the repair determined?
The service provider has included all the costs of the service. On top of the service, there will be a postage fee.
Which payment methods can I use?
We accept most banks, card payments and MobilePay. The payment is processed before the actual repair takes place.
How can I know that the person repairing my clothes is professional?
Currently, Menddie only collaborates with professionals to ensure the best possible quality.
I was not happy with the service. What can I do?

What if my package gets lost in the mail?
Luckily, there are only a handful of items that get lost in the mail in Finland. However each delivery is insured and if it gets lost, you will be refunded for the services and for the current value of your lost items.
What if the website does not work how it's supposed to?
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your problem. We will resolve your problem at once. We are developing the platform and releasing new features and bug fixes every week and sometimes something might break down. As you help us resolve these problems, other customers are saved from facing similar problems.
I could not find a repair for my 3-layered special zipper jacket?
No problem, you can always use the "Get an estimate" feature. You can describe your needs and send in a photo or two. You'll receive offers specific to your situation in a matter of days. You can then proceed to purchase one of these services or alternatively skip them.
Why should I repair something if I can get a new one for the same price?
The textile industry is one of the largest global problems. Our constant need for inexpensive clothing has resulted in delivering them at the cost of human rights, our nature, and the actual quality of the goods. It has been estimated that 85% of our clothing ends up either as energy waste or in landfills. By purchasing ethical quality clothing and making sure you use them for the full life cycle, you chip in your part in solving these global issues.
When should I repair or not repair a piece of garment?
If a tear or some other problem prohibits you from using an otherwise usable piece of clothing it should be repaired then. The earlier the repair is done, the less visible it will be, and the better it lasts after.
Does the mail services cause Menddie to have a carbon footprint?
Yes, it does. However, if we compare the carbon footprint of 200km logistics of repairing and manufacturing a completely new item, plus the global logistics of around 2000km, sending your item to be repaired is the significantly greener option.
Does Menddie operate sustainably?
Yes. Sustainability in all forms is an integral part of the foundation of the company. Sustainable thinking extends from packing materials to even our office equipment that we got second hand.
How does Menddie have an impact on society?
Menddie digitalizes traditional services that have not been accessible online. These services have been very local, hard to compare, and sometimes straight misleading in terms of price. We aim to alleviate these problems. We believe and hope, that through our operations more and more people would see the value and would have the courage to try these repair services by these talented entrepreneurs. For these entrepreneurs, Menddie is enabling a larger, nation-wide customer audience, all without having the otherwise required technical skills.

All postage fees are included in the order. You can see the separate cost of postage before confirming the order.
What happens if my clothing breaks down right after the repair?

What do I do if my I can't place an order?
Please try a different payment method. If the problem persists, there might be a problem in our end. Please contact email@example.com, and we'll sort things out.
Can I purchase a gift card?
Yes. You can modify the value of the gift card to a cent and you can even choose the code yourself if you want to! Find the link in the footer.
Can I order multiple repair services at once?
Yes. Make sure that the services you order are from the same service provider. If however, you choose multiple service providers, please note that you will be requested to send separate packages.
Can I choose where I ship my clothes from?
Yes. There are over 2000 access points to choose from. Your package will return to the point that you chose during ordering.
How do I pack my clothes?
A simple plastic bag is often more than enough. If you want to play it safe, you can envelope two bags. You can use a box too. Please remember to write the activation code to the package.
I could not find a repair for my needs. What do I do?
On Menddie platform you can ask for a special quote by selecting "Get an estimate" or "Something else". Please describe your request, and we'll be in touch in a few days.
I received an email asking me to pay more. What does this mean?
If the service provider finds the item needing more work than the order describes, they may offer to fix these defects for an additional fee.
